Where did the idea come from?
Many people like avatars, but GIF animation is a cool function on devices. Once BBM added Avatar GIF support, we immediately began testing its capabilities.
How long did it take to develop the app?
The GIF tech solution took us a lot of time. We spent over a week developing for BBOS and almost 2 weeks for BlackBerry 10 OS. We spent another 2-3 weeks to make it run even smoother on BlackBerry 10. The app frame and UI took about 2-3 weeks.
Who are your ideal customers?
Any BBOS users, since GIF maker is very rare on that platform. It’s a similar scenario on BlackBerry 10, so we are continuing to approve this app for our users. We target users who love BBM, love DIY (Do It Yourself) avatars. This app is for anyone who loves to be cool and unique!
Why should customers buy your app?
We are one of, if not the only app of this type on BBOS and one of the few on BlackBerry 10. Download the app, give it a try and see what your friends think of your amazing animated avatars for BBM!
