As mentioned a couple days ago, we’ve been working hard to bring many new improvements to the Android Runtime for BlackBerry 10.2.1. Our goal with the update is to increase the overall compatibility of the runtime and add support for many highly requested features and APIs.
Starting today, you can test your Android apps in the new runtime, which now includes support for Android Native, Bluetooth API, embedded MapView v1 API, Share Framework, Spellcheck and Wi-Fi Scanning. You’ll also want to update your BlackBerry Tools for Android Developers to the latest 2.0.1 beta, which is also available for download.
