Are you looking to release your BlackBerry 10 Cascades application with highest level of quality and stability? Do you want to conduct all your tests in-house? Well, look no further, as Truphone has contributed and open-sourced their automated testing framework for the BlackBerry 10 Cascades development environment.

This framework currently works with both simulator and BlackBerry 10 devices. It controls the GUI on the BlackBerry 10 device by:

  • Netcat on the command line
  • Java library for TDD (Test Driven Development)/BDD (Behavior Driven Development)
  • Scripts from a command line app
  • Record & Replay via a command line app

Truphone continues to improve this framework, but is also calling all BlackBerry 10 developers to help contribute back to this project.

So why wait? Get started today! Learn more about this news from the Truphone blog post, and you fork this project today from github.
