Anyone that felt slightly teased by the last Appcelerator Titanium update will be happy to know that the wait is over! Titanium 3.1.2 has been released, which includes the long awaited GA of the BlackBerry SDK. This means lots of bug fixes and an extremely comprehensive library for developing your applications with a native look and feel across multiple platforms.

If you already have the Titanium IDE installed, then you should get prompted to update to the GA build the next time you launch. Anyone new to Appcelerator can sign up and download the IDE themselves here.

For a full list of new features and changes added to the 3.1.2 release, please refer to the official Appcelerator blog announcement and the release notes. Added features specific to BlackBerry can be found at the GitHub repo site for the BlackBerry SDK.With the SDK in full GA, now is the best time to take your existing Appcelerator apps and port them over to BlackBerry 10! You will need a copy of the BlackBerry NDK installed in order to compile and target BlackBerry 10 devices and simulators. You can grab it here.

Happy coding! 🙂
