Hi Alex,
I'm assuming you're behind the @BlackBerryDev handle ^AK? If you ask me a question back on the twitter account - can I then expect a reply from either you or anyone else on the team? It seems to me that most questions to @BlackBerryDev go unanswered?

To clarify - I asked when I should hear something regarding my Playbook App submission (for the competition). You then replied "@jenschr Have you submitted a signed version? #bbdev ^AK". I replied the same second it was posted (I'm eager :-) ) and I had no reply. This has happened before with both me and friends.

Should I expect a response?

Alex,

I think the notary public isn't a big deal at all. Trust is a hard thing to deal with.
If people can't pay six bucks I won't buy their software:
http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_the_cost_to_notarize_a_letter
I would be one of those garage developers. I want companies to know that I can be trusted if and when they use my software. We also don't want flatulence apps running a muck.

I still notice on the FAQ at: http://us.blackberry.com/developers/appworld/faq.jsp
10 BlackBerry App World Vendor Portal
section d still read the 200 dollar fee. Didn't know if this should be update to reflect the changes.

Thanks for the updates. Keep up the great work on informing the community.

Nice to see some confirmation on the issues raised by the community, my main bugbear has been the notary problem. If this gets solved soon, it'll be great (although it will likely be after the end of the free PlayBook offer from the wording).
