BlackBerry Developer Group Meetups – Vienna & Egypt

As mentioned in our previous BlackBerry® Developer Groups post, February is a busy month for developer groups. A few more groups have scheduled meetings this month.

The first BlackBerry Developer Group meeting in Vienna will take place on February 17th at 5.30 pm at Mellow Café Bar. The agenda is as follows:

18:00 – 18:15 Welcome: Purpose/Intention & Organization of BlackBerry Developer Group Vienna
18:15 – 18:30 Research In Motion® (RIM®)’s view on BlackBerry Developer Groups (Klemens Schrattenbach)
18:30 – 18:45 Presentation of Candidates for second group manager
18:45 – 19:00 News from Mobile World Congress (Klemens Schrattenbach)
19:00 – open End Open Networking (everyone)

Another first meetup will take place in Cairo, Egypt where the BlackBerry Developer Community in Egypt will hold their inaugural meeting on Wednesday February 23rd the first week of March, due to the current situation in Egypt. Please visit the group site for all the details.

About Paul C.

Paul C. joined Research In Motion (RIM) in 2004 and has held a variety of positions in the organization since then. As a Project Manager for Developer Relations, he is responsible for a number of developer programs and resources including BlackBerry Developer Groups, The BlackBerry Developer Advisory Council and the Developer Issue Tracker. Paul C. also acts as a conduit of information flow between the Developer Relations team and RIM internal development teams. He never carries the same BlackBerry smartphone device for more than two months, but the BlackBerry Bold 9700 is his favorite so far.
