I am totally with James. Most users do not post a positive review for an App because they are just lazy. If anything does not work as expected (e.g some strange cod format errors on at&t torch devices) and the failure defenetly has not been caused by the App, people simply post a negative review without contacting support before.
So it is pretty hard for a vendor to get more positive review than negatives.

I also think that the current review process is misleading and does not serve the customer nor does it serves the vendor or RIM.
Most happy customers and average Joe do not leave their feedback. Feedback is often left be unhappy customers and in ways that distorts the picture and misleads the reader of the reviews.
Hope RIM will do something about it to give a more balanced picture.

Can you fix the review process. The rating box is not required, so people can submit reviews with a 0 in them. It says right in the Vendor FAQs that the rating is 1-5. So, why are entries with 0 showing up?

RIM needs to have a better support process or we will not build any more apps, they have failed to respond to messages, and their review process is very poor, they need to look at how Andriod and Apple work and support developers, its just very sad to see a company that developers want to support and build for, just lack in response and follow through,, we are considering if we wish to build for RIM anymore due to the poor service we have found time and time again
