BlackBerry Community Programs – New England BlackBerry Developers Group!

At the Mobile World Congress 2010 App Planet event we announced the introduction of a new program supporting local, community-led BlackBerry Developer Groups.

Now, we are sending an open call to all BlackBerry developers in the Boston area who are thinking about developing for BlackBerry smartphones and would like more information. The New England BlackBerry Developer Group is now online and will have its first meeting on March 16th in Cambridge, MA! You can find out more about the New England BlackBerry Developers Group here:

To help kick off this new group, Mike Kirkup, Director, Developer Relations at Research In Motion will be on hand as a guest speaker to talk about programs and services available to you as a BlackBerry Developer, and how you can make your app into a Super App!

Members of BlackBerry Developer Groups will benefit from participation in a local community with shared interests in learning, networking and support, will receive regular platform and program updates from RIM, and have access to exclusive discounts for developer certification exams and select BlackBerry developer events and conferences.
